| Look up their numbers. The Supra is a rare bird and the turbos were fairly rare amongst the Supras, and then there's that "certain year" mystique for some of the Supras. Nissan was very successful at selling lots and lots and LOTS of Zs. And what? maybe 40-50% of those were turbos. The Supra numbers are quite easily explained by simple supply and demand. There's hundreds of wrecked Z's lying around in junkyards and lots of them wrecked for auction any given day. Drives the price of junked parts down too. Try to compare that to finding a wrecked Supra. Good luck. Those $35 - 40K used Supra prices were in place well before Fast and Furious came out. If what you were saying were true, then the RX7 would be still selling for stellar prices, and it's not. It was featured even more in F&F. Again, there were more Rx7s (FD) than Supras and 100% of those were turbos and they all end up as car-B-ques, and can be bought cheaply. And I noticed that when the 350 first came out, the prices of used Z jumped by a few thousand dollars. I think that was a response to people not knowing how to respond to the new Z. Now that there are kits and tuner parts, guess what? Again, supply and demand. There's a decently fast 350Z now, and less of a reason to by a used TT for lots of cash. That said, I'm actually very excited about the tuner possiblities of the Z32. People can now start really doing some stuff, since the new has worn off. _MWS
